message sent as request for pictures...

Following a bit of reading and thinking I sent this message to a few people on facebook. The photo below from Ms Dey was the first one I received. I'm awaiting some more. Next week I'm off work so hopefully the painting will commence!

Hello nice people
as part of a new series of paintings i was hoping to look at everyday objects/sights/things. i would be interested if you could send me pictures of things that are meaningful to you either good luck charms or things you feel you need from heirloomy tyoe things to a cup of tea: perhaps the kind of things youd save from a burning building, or maybe just things you would replace if they got burnt!
yyou can send your photos by facebook or email them to forwardcat@gmail.com or take them on your trendy camera phone and text them to 07*********. if you wanted to accompany them with some text to explain that would make things more interesting but is not essential. the pictures would be amazing and i have a week off next week so want to get painting!!
depending on how the paintings turn out i'll try to post photos on here
i have only sent this to a few of you; mostly people who i think wont think im too weird asking this, if you know other people who might be able to help pls feel free to pass it on

A bit of archiving

Some older paintings I wanted to post to keep a record of, they are pretty much in chronological order:

All oil on canvas. I'm not sure how well the photos show them, I suppose that isn't important. These are really the last three years' output when I think of it. It does not look enough for three years but I maintain I've been busy...it isn't always a good thing to look back but there is something in seeing them together. Quite restful as a group.

New painting

Not a very good photo; its not quite as dull. I'm struggling to know what to paint or why I paint what I paint but this is from a photo I've had for a while and just seemed right.
